1 Data collection and processing
To provide our service, we process the files you upload and collect standard technical data required to keep the service running (IP address, browser version, timestamp). This data is used solely for service delivery, security, and performance monitoring. We never ask for or store your personal information unless you contact us directly.
2 File handling & retention
Your pdf is transferred over a secure connection and is kept on our private servers for compression and processing. Uploaded files may be retained for internal research and development purposes to improve our services. Your compressed file is available to download for 5 minutes before being automatically purged from our systems.
3 Analytics & Cookies
TinyPDF does not use cookies for tracking or processing. We do, however, use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic trends (e.g., which pages are most popular), and we leverage CloudFlare for secure service tunnels and caching. These vendors may drop their own cookies that we do not have access to. TinyPDF does not partake in cross-site tracking, fingerprinting, or the sale of web analytics data.
5 Data Security
We take data security seriously. All file transfers are encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). Uploaded files are securely stored on our servers and may be retained for internal research and development. Compressed files are permanently deleted from our servers within 5 minutes of being processed.
6 Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete any personal information we may hold (such as your email address if you have contacted us). If you have any questions or wish to exercise these rights, please email us at [email protected]. We will respond to all requests within 30 days.
